Own a WordPress site but not a server? BookPress hosting will run it for you.

Join the managed hosting waitlist

One email when it opens. Nothing to pay now.

Managed WordPress hosting on BookPress, for one to fifty sites. The same themes, plugins and wp-admin you use today, pages back in a third of the time, and no PHP to patch. We move the site in for you. It does not exist yet: join the list and you hear first, when the first slots open.

What you get

Your site, served by BookPress, looked after by us.

BookPress is a native engine that serves WordPress sites, plugins included, without the stock PHP they normally run on. Hosts run it on their own servers today. This plan runs it for you.

✓ The same site

Your theme, your plugins and your /wp-admin login work as they do today. WooCommerce and Elementor run. Your URLs stay put.

✓ Pages back in a third of the time

On WooCommerce and Elementor pages, BookPress serves pages back in a third of the time of a tuned WordPress on the same server, no page cache on either side. See the comparison →

✓ No PHP to patch

BookPress serves your site without a PHP interpreter. The PHP2Shell bugs of October 2026 were in the stock PHP that WordPress runs on; a BookPress site has no PHP for them to live in. Why that matters →

✓ Moved in, and back any time

We import your site with one command and export it back to WordPress whenever you ask. The export loads on any host, so your site stays yours.

Planned

What managed hosting will include

Every plan is planned to include:

  • Migration done for you: we import your site and check every plugin before it runs.
  • Free SSL (Let's Encrypt)
  • Your own domain mapped to the site
  • CDN in front of the site
  • Daily backups with one-click restore
  • Scoped SFTP and a jailed wp-cli
  • Full wp-admin
  • One-click site creation
  • Engine updates, applied by us, with a check that the site still answers after each one.
  • Support answered by an AI, with a person behind it who steps in.

Planned to feel like premium hosting, at well under the market price. Flat per site per month. No per-visit metering. Overage only on egregious storage or bandwidth.

Planned pricing, not final

Planned pricing

Planned pricing, not final. These numbers are a draft for a product that does not exist yet. They will change before the first invoice, and nobody on the list owes anything. The first price is for the first year, the second is what the plan renews at. Amounts are per month, net of VAT. Euro and dollar prices are each set for their market.

FAQ

Questions people ask first

Can I sign up for hosting today?

No. We are measuring demand before we build it. The sign-ups on this list tell us whether to, and the people on it get the first slots, in the order they joined.

Will my theme and plugins work?

BookPress checks every plugin before it runs and names the ones it cannot run. WooCommerce and Elementor run. Before you join, you can run the free readiness plugin on your site: it changes nothing and tells you which of your plugins run on BookPress.

How does my site move?

We import a copy of your site with one command. Your current host keeps serving until you point your domain at us. If you leave, the export writes a database dump and your wp-content folder that WordPress loads as they are, on any host.

What will a plan include?

Planned: migration done for you, daily backups with one-click restore, free SSL, a CDN, your own domain, engine updates, scoped SFTP, a jailed wp-cli and full wp-admin. The final list comes with the first slots.

Does it come with email inboxes?

No. The plans host the website only. The mail your site sends (password resets, shop receipts) goes out through your own mail provider: you enter its SMTP login in wp-admin, as on any host. Your inbox stays where it is.

What will it cost?

The table above is planned pricing and will change before the first invoice. Intro prices apply for the first twelve months of a plan, then the renewal price; planned pricing, not final. Flat per site per month, no per-visit metering, overage only on egregious storage or bandwidth. Joining the list costs nothing and commits you to nothing.

I run my own servers. Is this for me?

No. Hosts and agencies with their own servers run BookPress themselves, and the pilot puts ten sites on it for twelve months at no charge. This page is for people who own sites and do not run servers.

Where this stands

Managed hosting on BookPress does not exist yet. This list tells us whether to build it. If enough people join, we build it and open it to the people on this list first.
